The Church Council, Finance, Buildings and Grounds Committees brought a unanimously approved recommendation to the members of First Baptist Moss Bluff on the evening of June 27, 2010 for a renovation project for the Worship Center at a cost of $550,000.  A vote was taken and the recommedation was approved unanimously with all votes showing "Yea" and none opposed. The work began on Monday, July 19th, 2010.
Worship Center Renovation
We will be meeting in the Family Life Center for the duration of the remodeling of the Worship Center.
Some things to consider during the renovation:
• There will be no Sunday evening services during the renovation. The back hallway of the worship center is temporarily available for use between the Family Life Center & the AMC.
• Prayer meeting will be held in room 108 of the AMC, Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm during the renovation.
• Please continue to worship in reverence by not bringing drinks or food into the Family Life Center during worship services.
• The floor of the Family Life Center is considered a rubber sports floor, and ladies should be careful in their selection of shoes as some heels can damage the surface.
• Thank you for the generous donations towards the renovation.  We will be accepting special donations throughout the renovation process.

OCTOBER 2010
October 3 - Projected move date for the Worship Center.
October 8-14 - Mission trip with Bo & Summer Alexander to minister to Tibetan Buddists who have settled in New York City.  Their desire is to include individuals from FBCMB who would be interested in helping our church connect with Tibetans there.  For more info contact Bo & Summer as soon as possible at 855-1110 or 270-315-6276.
